Watch: The God Of Mischief Returns In First Loki Footage

The upcoming slate of Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows set to arrive on Disney Plus is really starting to heat up now. Hawkeye may have been delayed , but WandaVision has been pushed up several months and will now arrive this year , while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has already been in production for months, with set photos hitting the internet at an alarming rate . With two MCU shows looking to drop by the end of this year then, Marvel Studios will surely be hoping to replicate that model, and we already know that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki will be first out of the gates come 2021. Unfortunately, we haven’t learnt a whole lot about the spinoff so far other the fact that the narrative is set in an alternate reality, following the God of Mischief’s escape with the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame . And while we’re unlikely to find out more for a while yet, Marvel surprised us all earlier tonight by revealing the very first footage from the show, which you can see above.

First Falcon And The Winter Soldier Footage Debuts During Super Bowl

It’s already the biggest brand in the movie business, but now the Marvel Cinematic Universe is looking to dominate the small screen, too. After all, the MCU is one of the key selling points of Disney Plus, and with the films and TV shows set to be linked closer than ever before, it’d be wise for Marvel fans to be sure they keep up with all of the many series headed to the streaming platform. Ms. Marvel , She-Hulk and Moon Knight are still a bit far out, of course, but  WandaVision , Loki and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will all be here sooner rather than later. And with the latter in particular, we know that it’s been in production for some time now, with Kari Skogland behind the camera and John Wick creator Derek Kolstad heavily involved in the writing process. It’s an exciting duo of talent, especially when coupled with leads Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie, and now, we finally have our first look at the show thanks to the promo above, which debuted during the Super Bow

Watch: First Look At WandaVision Arrives During The Super Bowl

While a lot of fans are still coming to terms with the loss of Marvel’s Netflix lineup – and in particular, Daredevil ,  Jessica Jones , and  The Punisher – there’s a new era of superheroes ready to descend onto the small screen. Amazon may have The Boys and Warner Bros. continues to find much success with Titans , but over at Marvel Studios, the Powers That Be are preparing for a one-two punch that’s unlike anything we’ve seen before. We are, of course, talking about WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier , both of which are headed to Disney Plus later this year. The latter will explore a post-Steve Rogers world, one where Sam Wilson takes on the mantle of Captain America, while WandaVision is all about the titular, lovestruck duo. But the upcoming retro-inspired series won’t be all sunshine and smiles – far from it, in fact. And thanks to this new Disney Plus promo, we finally have our first look at the show. Unfortunately, it’s only a few brief shots – mixed in with
